Application
CANIPUR - knobletten with garlic, herbs, vitamins, minerals and trace elements increase the body's resistance, promote digestion, support the purification of the metabolism and protect against external parasites.
The well-being and health of dogs can suffer considerably from ectoparasites such as biting insects, flies, fleas and ticks, especially during the summer months. Their bites result in bleeding and swelling as well as itching, pain and allergenic reactions, often triggering intensive rubbing which will lead to inflammatory processes in the skin and hair loss.
The dogs will be restless and nervous, resulting in visible deterioration of overall condition, reduced feed intake and nutrient conversion and decreased performance and attentiveness. For these reasons, care should be taken particularly during the summer months to repel ectoparasites and to increase the organism’s natural power of defence against allergenic reactions.

General findings of nutritional science
Especially in the summer months, the well-being and health of dogs can be severely affected by external parasites (biting insects, flies, fleas, ticks). Their stings not only lead to bleeding and swelling, but itching, pain and allergic reactions cause severe chafing, resulting in inflammatory skin changes and hair loss. Particular emphasis should therefore be placed on defending against external parasites and increasing the body's natural resistance to allergic reactions, especially in the summer months.
Garlic, wild garlic and healing herbs not only stimulate digestion and metabolism, but also promote the resistance of the entire organism. The evaporation of essential oils and anti-allergic ingredients through the skin is extremely effective in reducing the nuisance caused by external parasites.
Linseed has a high content of unsaturated fatty acids, essential amino acids, mucilage and vitamin E. The unsaturated fatty acids have an anti-inflammatory effect on the skin and thus lead to faster healing of skin lesions. The mucilage supports digestion and, together with the essential amino acids in linseed, significantly improves the dog's nutrient supply.
Vitamins and trace elements are essential for a healthy and efficient energy metabolism; they also support and accelerate the regeneration of the skin and enhance the insect-repellent effect of the essential oils from garlic and wild garlic even further by increasing the evaporation of the skin.
